System Requirements
Windows NT, Windows 2000
In order for the program to run, you need to download the updates from the Windows site. All new high end, current software is all being developed in the .NET technology and will require the steps below.
STEP 1.
YOU NEED : Windows Installer 2.0
DESCRIPTION : Windows installer is a program by Microsoft that allows you to Install applications safely and securely. the latest version, version 2.0 needs to be installed on your system,

INCLUDED IN CD : If you purchase the CD version of Equus Software, these files are located in the Windows 98SE, Windows ME system requirements folder so you don’t need to download them from Microsoft’s site, they are immediately available to you on the CD.
FILE NAME : Please click file InstMsiW.exe
Step 2.
FOR : Windows 98SE, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP
YOU NEED : Microsoft.NET version1.1 redistributable.
DESCRIPTION : Microsoft.NET framework redistributable needs to be installed on the system.

A 1B) WINDOWS UPDATE : Easiest way to download – run Windows update. http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp
INCLUDED IN CD : If you purchase the CD version, these files are located in the Windows 98SE, Windows ME system requirements folder so you don’t need to download them from Microsoft’s site, they are immediately available to you on the CD.
FILE NAME : dotnetfx.exe
If you choose windows update, scan for updates. A list will appear. Scroll the list till you find the update listing Microsofts .NET. Make this choice and than hit install. The install will take place automatically.)
If you choose the download from link, a download window will appear that will ask you to open or download the file. Choose save and save it to your desk top. Once the download is complete and the icon is on your desk top, please double click the icon and the installer will automatically install itself on your system. (Don’t worry once the install is complete you can delete the icon from your desk top.)

STEP 3.
FOR : Windows 98SE, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows 2003
NAME : Microsoft Data Access Components. Version 2.6 or higher
DESCRIPTION : Current version is 2.8, and contains the latest security patches.
