- Have you ever wondered if you might be over training your horse?
(Are you putting them at risk and not even knowing it.)
- What about pushing them to fast and to hard?
(You can potentially damage tender muscles and joints while giving them no time to recover.)
- Ever consider the unnecessary pain and potential long term damage you could be inflicting?
(Are you possibly creating impending injuries that could follow them for the rest of their lives.)
You’re not alone ...
Track your horses Entire Exercise Program with the new Conditioning Module.
Video Tutorial
The conditioning module contains three exercise levels designed for your horses particular situation. They are:
All phases have a section on their schedules to enter your horses temp, respiration, pulse and notes. By tracking your horses vitals you will be able to see if you are working them to hard (potentially putting them at risk of injury or death), or barely working them.

Preliminary - Developmental - Advanced - Video Tutorial
Preliminary
Use the Preliminary Phase when your horse has been out to pasture or has had complete rest for a long period of time. This phase is designed to exercise your horse slowly increasing the lengths of time to tone up, strengthen and develop muscles, tendons, and ligaments.
The Preliminary Phase is a 4 week program with exercises already defaulted into the program.

Preliminary: Means to exercise the horse slowly over time in order to harden the tendons, muscles and skin. It is important in the initial stage you are only walking and trotting so there are no injuries. Your horse’s fitness is like a pyramid, and the wider the base, the higher the peak they can reach.

Advanced - Preliminary - Developmental - Video Tutorial
Advanced
Use the advanced phase to specialize and customize your horse fitness program to their particular discipline.
For example the Dressage horse and Show Jumper put emphasis on increasing their power and athleticism. Or for the Show horse continue building up body skin and coat condition as well as becoming more highly trained. The advanced phase is a program that you customize yourself according to how you want your horse to exercise.
This is entirely customized by you. Guidelines for the conditioning module are developed from the British Horse Society.
