System Requirements

Windows XP and Windows 2003 Server

In order for the program to run, you need to download the updates from the Windows site. All new high end, current software is all being developed in the .NET technology and will require the steps below.

YOU NEED: Microsoft Data Access Components. Version 2.6 or higher

A1) DOWNLOAD FROM : http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=6c050fe3-c795-4b7d-b037-185d0506396c&DisplayLang=en

A2) WINDOWS UPDATE : Easiest way to download – run Windows Update. http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp

INCLUDED IN CD : If you purchase the CD version of Equus software, these files are located in the Windows 98SE, Windows ME system requirements folder so you don’t need to download them from Microsoft’s site, they are immediately available to you on the CD.

FILE NAME : MDAC_TYP.EXE

 If you choose windows update, scan for updates. A list will appear. Scroll the list till you find the update listing Microsoft’s MDAC (Microsoft Data Access Components). Make this choice and than hit install. The install will take place automatically.)

If you choose the download from link, a download window will appear that will ask you to open or download the file. Choose save and save it to your desk top. Once the download is complete and the icon is on your desk top, please double click the icon and the installer will automatically install itself on your system. (Don’t worry once the install is complete you can delete the icon from your desk top.)
